Our letter of the week is "I".

We will complete our letter "I" dot paint activity. Notice now that the children are tracing their name on every worksheet we do. (I write their name in yellow marker and they trace over it). This is great practice for them!!

Wednesday - During circle time we will talk about the difference between big and small. We will do a coordinating worksheet about the two. Children will have the opportunity to look around the room for items that are big and small. We will also try to put these items in size order on the carpet.

Friday - My favorite cooking letter!!!! Can you guess why??? Hint - it's a delicious frozen treat!

The children are working very hard each day on our holiday concert songs. We will be singing for you on Wednesday, December 21st at 11am!!! Our class moms will soon send details on our holiday party as well as a class grab bag.
Throughout the week, during center time, children will come to the craft table to work on assorted holiday crafts. Monday, for example, we will be working on making beautiful gift boxes for the hallway bulletin board.

Have a great week!!

Finally, throughout this week, I will be working individually with students on name tracing pages.  I made some great templates for them to start to practice writing their names.  If you would like copies of these templates for extra practice at home, just let me know and I will be glad to send some home.  The more they practice, the better they will get at writing and spelling their names!
